It’s a harsh site so slip slop slap seek slide.  This house isn’t just sun smart, it’s dressed as a farm smart house. 

Big hat: sheltered and covered entries and exits with plenty of space to pull off boots and jackets.

Popped Collar: robust wall cladding round the back - a shield from mean, cold, wet southerlies and the afternoon winds off the Coorong.

Boots: A bit of elevation, the concrete plinth puts some space between you and the creepy crawlies.
